Haiga
Over the past few years I’ve gotten into the habit of posting haiga, illustrated haiku and senryu, on my cabin wall in Jack London Village just south of Glen Ellen, for people passing by to see, and read.   These brief poems come from walks I take among the hills and vineyards near my home, during which I make sure to take along my camera, a few slips of paper, and a pen.   Here are some examples: click on any of these thumbnails to read the complete poem. Stop by my cabin if you're ever in the Valley of the Moon, to see what's posted now.
