1960: AA degree (Liberal Arts), Santa Rosa Junior College, Santa Rosa, California;
1968: BA degree (English Literature), the College of Letters and Science at the University of California, Berkeley, California;
1975: MA degree (Clinical Psychology), Lone Mountain College at the University of San Francisco, California.

1974: Contra Costa County Mental Health Clinic, Richmond, California;
1974-75: Rubicon Outpatient Treatment Center, Richmond, California;
1975: Saint George Home for Severely Disabled Adolescents, Berkeley, California;
1975-76: Way Home Community Counseling Center, San Francisco, California.

Professional Activities:
1976: licensed as Marriage and Family Therapist (#MFC8847) and entered private practice;
1986: clinical member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, state and local chapters;
1987-97: supervision of MFT interns in private practice;
1994: contributed “Type, Archetype and Stereotype” as a chapter in Who Am I? (published that year by Tarcher/Putnam; Robert Frager, editor);
1999-2004: member of Interagency Council for Youth and Families of Sonoma; during this time I also served on boards for Sonoma Children's Cancer Foundation (a resource and support group for families of children with cancer) and for Covenant Connection (a treatment program for sexual offenders).
